Picking at 1.05 - BPA Vs Need

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Picking at 1.05 - BPA Vs Need

Postby Peepyopee » Fri May 29, 2020 5:17 pm

Another BPA Vs Need thread. But it’s that time of the year so hey why not?

I’m picking at 1.05 - all signs on convos and team needs 1-4 appear the first 4 picks will be

1 CEH
2 JT
3 Dobbins
4 Swift

Given my build in my sig, do I blindly take Akers or Take lamb or jeudy and look to make a follow on move? Second Q if swift falls to me do I take him?

BPA could be further loading my strongest position but I’m not against just getting all the way up in there.

I’ve seen other 1.05/1.06 threads that show lots of folks like Jeudy. Has anyone been in a similar situation drafting in a spot like this?

Consensus (which doesn’t necessarily align with BPA) is Akers, and team need is RB. I’d go Akers in your situation. If you like Jeudy a lot more, you have plenty of WR depth to be able to move one/some for a veteran RB.

TE: Kelce, Okonkwo, Schoonmaker

Go with your gut and who you like the most. I have seen Jeudy, Lamb and Akers all go before each other. Many times Swift falling behind all of them. Just grab your guy 👍.

To answer your second question first I would take Swift if he’s there at 5. Otherwise I’d take Jeudy.

I think the value is such that you can spend the 1.05 on Akers and not think twice about it. It's either him or one of the two top receivers going there.

I’d go BPA. Swift if he falls to you. If not, give me Lamb or Jeudy.
