You don't make a move like this unless you are competing, and even in a 14 team league, your team is not there yet.

I guess Akers, I’m not convinced he’s THE guy in the lead role though. Who’s available to draft with the two picks would be the deciding factor for me.

I think the value is with the Akers side of the deal. You can always flip him again and maybe feel more holes. I would trade 1.14 and 2.01 for 1.07 or better in a rookie draft.
