On the clock- seeking advice

Postby adamzaff » Mon May 25, 2020 11:07 am

I had another thread and everyone was very helpful. Currently I am on the clock for dynasty rookie (see in signature) for pick 2.01.

BPA are:
Higgins
Pittman
Mims

I am leaning slightly with Higgins but Pittman is not too far behind as well as Mims after. I am in a rebuilding stage and have already picked
Dobbins, Jeudy, Reagor. I also traded for Drew Lock as well (not in signature).

Quick thoughts before the pick?
Trying to go from worst to first, who wants to help!

12 team with IDP .5 ppr,: 1QB, 1RB, 1WR, 1TE, 4 Flex (WR/RB/TE).
Also includes IDP (2each) for DL, LB, DB and 1 kicker
Starts 15/ Bench is 25 deep with 3 practice squad spots for players yet to meet min criteria for career
Free agency has been locked since Superbowl and will start after the draft concludes

QB: Drew Lock, Brissett, Driskel, Allen, Blough, Finley
RB: Eckler, Gordon, Justin Jackson, Darrell Williams, McKissic, Brian Hill
WR: Hopkins, Deebo Samuel, Boykins, Valdez-Scantling, Allison, Snead, Sanu, Goodwin, Coutee, Agholor, Isabella, St. Brown, Ward, Chester Rodgers, Paul Richard
TE: Ian Thomas, Irv Smith, Ryan Griffin
DL: Trey Flowers, Justin Houston, Jonathon Allen
LB: Fred Warner, Matt Milano, Anthony Walker
DB: Budda Baker, Adrian Amos, Jessie Bates
K: Jake Elliott

2020- Dobbins, Jeudy, Reagor, Higgins, 3.03, 4.01, 5.01 (traded for Drew Lock also)
2021 1st, 1st, 2nd 4th, 5th

How I feel also..I tried trading back with next 4 players (assuming Tua may go in those picks and I get one of the 3 WRs) but had no takers.

Think I am just going to go with my gut and longterm take Higgins here.

You read my mind, tried with 4 people behind me but all are taking who falls to them. One person outside offered my Teddy Bridgewater but I declined that.

Very close between Higgins and Mims. Maybe slight edge to Higgins.

This is super close. For me personally it's Tee Higgins. But that's just because I've heard some compare him to AJG. Most of the people i talk with have Mims here as the most talented but I don't like the situation one bit.

Pick 3.03 is about 8 picks away. No defensive players have been taken just yet as of pick 2.08.

See my team in my signature, I am rebuilding and need help but wanted thoughts on when to take defensive players. I am seeing around round 3 for a few linebackers/DB's and Chase Young (poss earlier for him)

Wondering if at 3.03 if I should go with a specific defensive player, or take BPA for offensive player. And what defensive players would you justify taking at 3.01 over some potential offensive players like (see below)

Justin Herbert
Darrynton Evans
KJ Hamler
AJ Dillon
Chase Claypool
Anthony McFarland
Lynn Bowden
Devin Duvernay
Van Jefferson
Joshua Kelly

Also, attaching defensive scoring system. 6 defensive players on a 15man starting roster, 2 of each (DL, LB, DB)
