Did I mess this up in the startup?

I traded 13.08 for 16.12 and a 2nd round pick in 2021 13.08 turned into Tony Pollard. I feel like acquiring more first and 2nd rounders in the dynasty setting keeps your team competitive, thoughts?

I think this will only become clear once you know who you get with the 2nd next year. Too soon to tell.

Who did you pick up with the 16th round pick? If you were able to land a good sleeper plus the second rounder I’d call it a win, but like others have said already- no way to really tell until next year. If your late pick hits and you get an early second out of that trade it’s an easy win

First off, this is such a minute trade, you don't need to worry. I think I spoke to you about this, but if Pollard was the player, you got a dart throw in the 16th, and a dart throw in the 2nd round next year. It's a minor deal, but you get 2 dart throws for 1. The good thing is, that 2nd will only gain value, and can't tear it's knee up, or have a bad season.

I think you did good. Moved back a couple rounds and gained a future 2nd. I don’t see Pollard going for any more than a random 2nd so the pick is nice Value here just to move back.

I think you crushed this deal. You moved down a couple of rounds to pick up a 2nd. If it's the 2.01.thats practically a first. If it's the 2.12 who cares, it's still a second shot. Two shots at that level is better than 1
