Finally acquired Miles Sanders. Now should I....

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Finally acquired Miles Sanders. Now should I....

Postby nicktahoes » Fri May 22, 2020 10:40 am

I was able to acquire Sanders during the rookie draft. I have 1.07 and Cooks for Sanders and 2.10. I've been trying for two months and put many posts here and finally got him for what I think is a great deal. I think he is RB1 upside for sure.

So now I'm wondering should I try to move him in a package to get CMC? CMC was also traded during the draft for well below value. The guy that has CMC now says that he would consider trading him but does want real value for him. He's looking for multiple pieces.

This is for my team one in my signature. Would it make sense to offer something like Sanders, lock and a 2021 first for CMC?
Team 1:
PPR--QB, RBx2, WRx3, TE, Superflex, Flex x2
QBs: Lawrence, Stafford, Geno, Hooker, Rush
RBs: Ekeler, Kamara, Achane, Elijah Mitchell, Dillon, Kelley, Moss, Jamaal Williams
WRs: Adams, Hopkins, Waddle, Kirk, JSN, Boyd, OBJ, Hyatt
TEs: Kelce, Hockenson, Taysom, Irv Smith

and then a few minor players and rookie stashed on taxi

I doubt that will be enough with the huge overpay it will take to get CMC. If Sanders is your guy, why move him?

You'd have to give up Watson or Wilson instead of Lock for the CMC owner to consider it, and I don't think it's worth it for your team. I don't think your team has the depth to go after CMC.

Imagine a bell curve on a graph with the X axis being age, in the center of the X axis would be 24.5, these are the RB's I'd avoid buying due to the absorbent cost associated and imminent decline in either actual fantasy value or on-field efficiency. It's usually a negative ROI to purchase these RB's, stick to the extremes of the bell-curve – buy them when they are rookies, or when their value is depressed due to age, but they're still in a good situation and likely have some juice left.
