next year you're going to want to own the player you're taking at 1.01. Chubb is a great player, but injury concerns, Hunt's role, age, and approaching the infamous 2nd contract are all reasons for me to stay away. Plus, you'll get similar production from CEH imo.

2QB/SF it's 1.01 easily. 1QB and non-PPR it's Chubb easily. 1 QB PPR it's close but I'd probably lean Chubb (wouldn't fault someone for going 1.01 if they feared increased Hunt usage and believed CEH was the next Westbrook).

I feel like Chubb and Miles Sanders have been in this Player X vs. 1.1 the most on the forum. Even though I just traded him for DJ Moore, I still think I prefer Chubb in this spot. People worried about 2nd and 3rd year RBs will never win championships because they are always playing for next year.

Ya there's been many Chubb vs pick trades in here the last month. Its seems the consensus has been Chubb. IMO you can win championships taking the pick but there's risk involved. Id feel much more comfortable trading for the pick +. Here is what I posted last time.

Plenty of risk involved but many of the top rookie RBs in the last few years have been very safe. I think its just the way the NFL used RBs now. You could have made a living trading known players (Chubb) for the pick +. Kamara for Jacobs + in early 2019. Zeek for Barkely + in 2018. David Johnson for Fournette or CMC + in 2017. Any top RB for Zeek + in 2016. Although there is risk, this has could have been a very useful technique that last 5+ years.

I know I am cherry picking a little bit on the veteran RBs I picked, but these were all top 2-3 RBs at the time. Chubb is currently RB7.

Seems like a trade to make a trade IMO. If you don't believe in CEH trade the pick, if you do believe in him no way you don't make the pick. Objectively I cant fault either stance.

Not if Chubb won you a title that CEH wouldn't have...or if CEH ends up in more of a committee than many think.
