Tyler Lockett vs. Christian Kirk [POLL]

I just sold Lockett + Knox for Kirk (team in sig). I value the two WRs similarly, but I wanted the upside of a younger Kirk in ARI's offense since I have solid starters in Hill, Evans, and Kupp. I've tried selling Knox for a 3rd but had no interest, so he would've been a roster cut post-rookie draft anyway. Thoughts?

That's really, really, really close. It's really a 'pick your guy' type situation at this point. I like Kirk quite a bit long-term, and way more than TL long-term, it really depends on if you need the instant production from TL or not this year.

Pretty close. Now you got the Murray / Kirk combo so that's a nice play in the right matchups. Are any of the lesser ARI WRs on the waiver wire that you might want to "scout" just in case that hierarchy doesn't pan out the way most people expect?

I was really looking to buy Kirk during the season but ended up selling him recently. As WR friendly as AZ's system projects to be, I just don't think the Cardinals believe in him as much as I'd like--based on the Lamb rumors. He has PPR upside but I'd rather have Russell Wilson's favorite target and efficiency poster child

I would have kept Lockett, but I've never been too high on Kirk. In terms of value, it's probably close though. You're able to afford the move and take the risk to get younger since Lockett wouldn't have been a weekly starter for you anyway.

I like Kirk long term, people are so worried about him. Maybe he won’t have the chance to the the WR1 there for a few years with Hopkins but he’ll be a strong 2, and then when Hopkins is gone he could be the 1 and only be 26 by then. The cardinals passing offence is so high volume that even as the 2 he’ll see probably around 100 targets. I like the move for the future of the team. Lockett is the #2 in Seattle on a lower passing volume offence, and Knox is a fine stash piece but I don’t know if he becomes a top TE

Yeah, Lockett is just depth for me, so I like Kirk long-term even as the no. 2 behind Hopkins with Fitzgerald on his last legs.

Both Isabella and Harmon are owned, though this league is a shallower 20-man roster + 3-man taxi, so they might be dropped post-rookie draft. Even then though, there will probably be better prospects available on waivers.

Yeah, that was my train of thought in shooting for upside with Kirk since Lockett sat on my bench for most of last season.

Lockett by a ton. I would expect someone to add to Kirk to get Lockett, not the other way around.

Lockett was WR5 last year before his injury in week 12.
