He hasnt had a physical yet due to covid19. If you can get him for a 2021 second you should do it. As someone who has gurley I'm not selling him. Rather ride him into the season.

I was offered him and Ito Smith for my 1.13 in a 16 teamer. I thought it wasn't a terrible offer but I passed. If I was in greater need of an RB I might have accepted it. Those responding my thread on this were of the same mind. If he had wanted my mid second-round pick I'd have done it for sure but 1.13 felt like too much.

This is not news. Pure speculation. Gurley avg'd 17 touches last season, so it'd be silly to expect anything less.

PSA: please don't let the echo chamber/pure speculation pieces alter your opinions, it's going to a long offseason of nothing but speculation from beat writers. If you can capitalize on someone that is reactive, then great.

Think about this, Matt Forte got the same "severe arthritis" stuff thrown at him in 2012 then went on to play 5-6 more seasons (and was a top 10 RB in 4 of those seasons).

Gurley will be fine (likely RB8-RB12), and if you can get him for cheap, jump on it.

I was going to start a new post but since one was close, decided to chime in. I have someone offering me Gurley in our 12 team / PPR league which is team 1 in sig. He's offering Gurley and Curtis Samuel for Drake. He added Herbert as an extra piece but I have little interest in him. I took Hurts on my last pick just in case Wentz has issues again. The same owner has an active offer of Samuel alone for a 2021 3rd.

"The News" isn't really news. It's just a coach expressing the reality everybody has known for some time now. Gurley's knee is an enigma and it will be a trial by fire experiment going forward, with no idea about the outcome.
