Swift v Dobbins

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Swift v Dobbins

Postby bigbuck22 » Wed May 13, 2020 9:29 pm

My draft starts this weekend and my expectation is that I'll be left choosing between Swift and Dobbins.
My only noteworthy RBs are Zeke and Ingram. 1pt PPR

Let me know who you side with and if you would, an explanation would go a long ways. Thanks

I like Dobbins more as a pure runner in a great running system. He landed in the perfect spot in my opinion and I think he contributes sooner rather than later. Detroit's track record with RBs the last few years is not great. Swift could break that, but I dont see them using him as a workhorse.

Couple questions... Not considering your current roster how'd you rank them pre draft? What picks do you have? Dobbins has a STRONG landing spot. I love Swift however I hate DET bc they kill RBs. So it's really personal preference .... Any chance you can get both? 🤯

Dobbins is better and in the better spot IMO.

Evenish talent wise for me, dobbins gets the nod on landing spot.

Assuming you have pick 1.05 in SP or 1.03 in 1QB. I had 1.03 in my recent 1 QB draft and went Dobbins and it really wasn't close for me as the other option i was considering was Lamb. I am pretty high on Dobbins and would not be surprised if he emerges as the RB1 of this draft. In my other 1 QB Draft Dobbins also went 1.03.

Predraft I had these guys ranked about even with a slight edge to Swift. Admittedly though, I felt the hype on both was overblown. I'm not terribly high on either like many are but need RB depth and I expect this is what I will be looking at when it turns my pick. Dobbins landing in Balt moves them about even for me. Perhaps I'll look to trade back a spot or two.

Dobbins all day

Dobbins has significantly more upside in that system
