Selling Trubisky to Foles Owner?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Selling Trubisky to Foles Owner?

Postby LMS123 » Sat May 09, 2020 8:49 pm

I'm trying to sell trubisky to the Foles owner in my league. What do you think is a fair ask price? I'd like picks, he has 1.03, 1.08, 2.06, 3.03, and 4.01. I sent an offer of Trubisky for 2.06, 3.03, and 4.01 picks but don't think he'll do it. Trubisky is young enough he could still land somewhere and have a future; but I think most people would say he's worthless. What should I sell for at a minimum?

Thanks all!

That seems like a reasonable price to ask for Trubisky in a superflex.

Perfect, I'd honestly be quite happy to sell for that. I love the depth of this draft class. Thank you for the input!

Nvm guy said he doesn’t think Trubisky has a future so I’ll just hold and Trubisky will become Tannehill in 2-3 years and I’ll sell him for a 1st lol

That's a bummer. Would have been nice to dump him for some value.

I think Trubisky is a hold/buy. He's got issues, but I don't know that Foles will definitely win the starting job. Plus, Trubisky's rushing upside makes him a much better fantasy QB.

I'm not sure why people are so quick to assume foles will beat out Trubisky right away. It is definitely a possibility, but Foles just got run out of town by a 6th round rookie. Blame it on injuries, whatever you want...but Foles is average and boring. This is one of those cases where I think the bears really mean it when they say they brought him in for competition. Either guy could end up the starter, and as bad as trubisky has been I also think he has more unknown potential.

I'm holding for now. No1 is paying a 2nd or better and he's worth sitting on my bench for a 3rd.

Definitely, I’m with ya like the bears FO still days it’ll be a competition. If I could’ve gotten the 2.06, 3.03, 4.01 deal done I would’ve been happy with that but Mitch 25, he’s still so young and I think can still develop even if it’s in a new system. Will he ever live up to the #2 draft slot? No. But could be be a Tannehill type guy? I think so
