Drops, Trade and Draft Advice!

Hey Guys,

Been away for awhile, but with Covid keeping us all locked up our league decided to hold the rookie draft right after the NFL draft.

We have typically drafted in late July or Early August so this is quite the change.

Came in 2nd last year after losing by .01 in the finals.

We have 18 man rosters with 2 taxi spots. Ive only got 1 draft pick and have maneuvered my way into 1.02.

QB: Brees, Lamar, Cam
WR: Hopkins, Godwin, Boyd, AJG, Sterling Shep, John Brown, Alshon, Nkeal Harry
RB: Melivn Gordon, Ingram, Guice, Tarik Cohen, Montgomery, Penny
TE: Ertz, Engram
DST: Bills, Bears
K: Youngho

First to the drops. I could just drop both DST's and the kicker. Or do I send someone like Alshon, John Brown, or Sterling to the free agent pool?

For the draft... 99% sure he is taking CEH. So im quite set on JT as my RB's are the weak spot.

Trade... guy with 1.05 is open to moving it. Do I look at trading someone like Monty for it? Boyd and my 2021 first?

Definitely drop the kicker. D/ST as well if you don't think you'll have issues picking some back up as the season approaches. If this is a 1 QB league (looks like it based on your signature), I'd drop Cam Newton before any of the receivers you mentioned.

If you can swing a Montgomery for 1.05 trade, go for it, but his value isn't typically there right now.

Drop- I like the idea of dropping the K and D/ST
Draft- Yes, take JT
Trade- If he will take Montgomery for 1.05 I’d do that. Especially if Dobbins were to fall there or just take Swift or the WR you like.

Brutal way to lose the final, tough one!!

Dropping your kicker and defenses is a good way to go if you can get them/1 DST back.

Taylor is a good way to go with your RB core.

If you can trade Montgomery for the 1.05 I would do that asap. Boyd + the 2021 1st is a tougher deal given your wr core and I would probably hold what you have there.
