1.02 or 1.04+2.05 12tm SF?

Postby grooner » Sat May 02, 2020 9:22 am

I am in a 12 tm SF with starting requirements of QRRWWWTSF.

I have the 1.01 and will be taking Burrow. I also have the 1.02 and am contemplating trading it for 1.04+2.05. I think they want a QB so they would take Tua, and I can get one of JT or CEH? I would be taking one of JT/CEH at 1.02 if I stay in I think, but it is a gamble as 1.02+1.03 could take JT/CEH.

What is your roster? What is your QB situation? I’d be taking Tua at 1.02, but if you are stacked at QB, then yes, I’d trade it. I’d try to get more for it than that though. Do either one of the teams that would be picking need QB help?

Nice deal if you are pretty set at QB.

Im doing ok at Qb, got both of the picks from trading Have Prescott, Brady, Minshew, Rosen.

I was thinking about Tua, but my RBs are brutal, Mortstert, freeman, R. Jones lol.

I would not say that’s okay at QB. Give me Tua for sure. Brady is like 54 and I am a not a big believer in Minshew. I’d want Burrow and Tua to pair with Dak. Great core to build around.

If you're sure he's taking Tua I guess it's fine. You definitely need rb help so this makes sense.

WR: Hill, Cooper, Woods, Thielen, MWill, Miller

RB: JT, CEH, Davis, Snell, Justin Jackson
WR: Hill, JuJu, Cooks, Crowder, Parker, Shenault, Pittman, Aiyuk, CD
TE: Goedert, Irv, Sternberger
Picks: 2021-none 2022-1 2 3 4 5

Yeah I hear ya. But Burrow+Dak is a great in a superflex I think. Having a 3rd qb is great, but can't start him. My WRs are strong with Thomas, Hill, Godwin, Hilton, Harry. Built to win now if I had a rb, so was thinking that. But taking Tua could be the right choice unless I get a better offer.

Always the risk, but is it the end of the world if I get Tua at 4?

I love that 2.05 range in this draft but with only 5 starters at wr and rb it’s fairly shallow, making QBs even more valuable, so you should probably be able to get more? That said if you can’t and rank the 2 RBs fairly evenly, it’s a good enough deal I suppose.

I think you should get more in superflex. What other picks does the owner have. This class has some worthwhile fliers and you need some lottery tickets at RB.

He has 3.05 and 4.05 also.

Yeah he is being very stingy, maybe i just take Tua and then make him trade with me?

I say take the trade. If you don't get your guy, you end up with Tua at 4 and make the right choice. At 2.5 you will have the end of that second tier of WRs (Higgins, Pittman, Shenault, Mims). I think the top 4 are pretty much in a tier of their own so moving down in that tier and getting a solid 1st or second round WR is a great move. Maybe ask for a little more if you think you can get it but I think it would be a solid trade as is.
Team 1: 12 team, PPR
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex

Mahomes, Lawrence
Najee, Swift, Javonte, Jamaal W, Murray
DK, DJM, Juju, Jameson, Gallup, Van
Pitts, Friermuth
1.01, 1.04, 1.11, 1.12, 3.10, 2 firsts next year

Team 2: 12 Team, SF TEP (1.5 PPR)
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex, 1 SF

Mahomes, Burrow, Cousins, Rudolph
CEH, Swift, Gibson, Jacobs, Mattison, Scott, McFarland
DK, AJB, Ridley, McLaurin, Kupp, Landry, Mims, Hamler, Miller, Johnson, Robinson
Andrews, H. Henry, Sternberger, Alie-Cox, Herndon

Same as Team 2
Watson, Burrow, Lance, Z. Wilson
Pollard, Mattison
Chase, D. Smith, Boyd, Hardman, E. Moore, Cephus, A. Rodgers, Harry, Boykin, A. Tate, Miller
Hockenson, Thomas, Albert O, Njoku
3 additional firsts

Same as Team 2
TLaw, Burrow, Watson, Darnold
CEH, Gus, Cohen
Juju, Chark, Shenault, Boyd, Landry, Renfrow, Robinson,
Engram, Kmet, Firkser, Schultz, Arnold, Herndon
5 additional firsts

We have been going back and forth and I offered this as my last offer, we shall see what he says.
