Melvin Gordon Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Melvin Gordon Value

Postby Pete Carroll's Gum » Mon Apr 27, 2020 10:04 am

Now that the rookies have landed on their teams, what is Melvin Gordon worth? Should I try to move him before my rookie draft or wait until mid season and hope he's performing well, then sell him? It seems like all the top RB rookies have a taken a slight hit due to landing spots. Anyone else feel that way?

If you can sell I'd do so. That offense is going to be explosive though so you might be wise to sell in the middle of the season. I think you either keep him all year and hope for a championship push, or sell all your assets besides Jackson and Goff and go for a rebuild. Really need to decide quickly because Julio is declining in value fast

Wait, what? If anything, the top RBs gained value from dream landings spots. Taylor behind that IND offensive line, CEH catching passes from Mahomes, and Dobbins going to a run-heavy BAL team are all ideal. Going back to Gordon, I'd value him as a late 1st.

I'd say that Taylor is going to split with Mack, Dobbins will split with Ingram/Lamar. The only one who went up was CEH, imo. I mean all of this for this year btw, Taylor will be the workhorse once Mack is gone next year. I guess I was being short sighted, lol.

I tend to get short sighted. I need to look to the future, lol.

If your goal is to compete, then I'd hold. I don't think people are going to pay what he's worth right now.
