Trade for 1.01

I've got a deal on the table for the 1.01 for Team 2 in my signature. Is this enough for the 1.01 is it too much? This is a full must start 2QB league.

It's the worst team in the league coming to me, and I don't want to be seen to fleece him, so want something that works for both of us.

Aaron Rodgers, Christian Kirk, Anthony Miller, Jerrick McKinnon(He's got Tevin Coleman), 3.09, 4.05, 4.07, 2021 1st

Get:
1.01, Minshew, Hakeem Butler

All the players he wants from me except Jet would be starters for him. On calculators it's an average of about 20% "win" in his favour.

But I'm happy to decline this offer and counter with more if that's what's fairer.

I'd likely be taking Taylor or CEH with the 1.01

If the other owner likes the trade, I would go for it. Seems light to me, but Rodgers could have a few good years left. I like the trade for your build.

Um...this is the definition of fleecing him.

Minshew = Kirk + Miller. This is basically getting the 1.01 in a 2QB league for Rodgers + 2021 1st.

This is easily the 1.01, but I'm confused. You're trading for the 1.01 in a 2QB league and not taking Burrow? I think that's a big mistake considering it would leave you with Darnold/Minshew as your QB2. A combo of Jackson/Burrow for the next ten years....

Yeah I missed that part. Why trade to the 1.01 and not take the 1.01 asset?

Id still make the trade, and then move back from 1.01 to someone who will pay a kings ransom for burrow.

The offer was sent to me by the 1.01 owner. As I said, he's got the worst roster by far and is probably the least knowledgeable owner in the league. I want to try get a deal done that's fair for both of us that we could both be happy with. As I said, I don't want to fleece him, so I'll reject, counter with a fair offer and try to educate a bit about values and how to build offers a little better. I've already got him around to using calculators as a starting point which is a win for him and has helped him reject a few trades already (most recently Mixon and 2.08 for 1.01 and 1.09).

Trading a lot of capital for the 1.01 and not getting an RB with my team needs doesn't make sense. The league doesn't like Tua, although I'd prefer Tua to Burrow. Trading back isn't an option.

If no trade happens, current owner will take Burrow. If he doesn't, 1.02 will take him. If Burrow is gone at 1, then 2, 3 and 4 will likely go CEH, Taylor and then either an RB/WR. So I'll probably get Tua at 5, or take what's left of the RBs in which case the value is gone. Only person will to move a pick is the 1.

So what would be a more equitable trade to counter with for the 1.01 that would still make sense for my team with the idea that I'll be taking Taylor/CEH?

Basically I'd hate to come away from this and for him to think I've "had" him. I want his team to improve and I want him to stay interested in his roster and the league. Or is the best move here just to leave him make his selection at 1.01?

I mean, I'd just make the trade. It's not THAT egregious. Then I'd take Burrow. But if you're dead set on not taking Burrow, then I'd trade it and move back a couple of picks.
