1.01 Superflex not Burrows

I have 1.01 and 1.05 in a superflex league. The obvious pick is Burrows but would it make sense for me to take a RB instead. I came in second last year and want to try and draft what would be best to win this year.

At QB I have Lamar and Carr
At RB I have CMC, KJ (boo), Guice,

I probably need more than two pieces to win but I still think I can. At 1.05 I will just go BPA. But I'm wondering for winning this year would taking Taylor or CEH over burrow have merit?

Burrow. If for some strange reason you don’t want to take Burrow, you should trade back a couple picks.

For me it’s burrow 1.01, but in recent startups I’ve seen Taylor and sometimes swift were going ahead of him (pre draft), so it’s not crazy to go rb there.

Trade back to the 1.3 or 1.4 and pickup another 1st+ and you’ll be in a great spot.

Does the 1.02 or 1.03 owner need QB help? I'd trade 1.01 for either pick + 2nd if you need RB help.

I have Taylor and CEH.. and Tua.. and maybe another RB or two over Burrow.. So I wouldn't force a QB at 1, by any means. Because the consensus says QB at 1.01, you should definitely drop down. It's the perfect year to do that.

Don't over think it. Burrow is the pick at #1 (especially if carr is your second QB). If you are set on not taking burrow, trade it to someone who will for a big payday.

im in your same position and i dont want to take Burrows. I want to trade back a few picks (1.3-1.5) so i can get a top RB like Dobbins. BUT ive been thinking of taking CEH #1 overall but ive walked back from that now. im scrambling throwing out offers right now

Right. Exactly my thinking. So it kinda comes down to do I like:
Burrow/Guice
Or
Carr/CEH

For this year Carr/CEH might be the better if the two. Agree?

What would scare me is if Carr is replaced in a year or two. If you came I. 2nd place but was gifted the 1OA you may want to take QB as you may not draft that high again and will have to move pieces later to make your QB situation more stable. Is there any way you could get back into the first round and try for a guy like Akers around pick 7? Or is there a QB needy owner with two first?

I have 1.2 in my league and stacked at QB so I’m leaning towards trading back but I don’t think I’ll get what I want so I’ll take Tua or Burrows and trade them or another one of my QBs in a year or two

Take Burrow at 1.01 and you will still get Dobbins or Taylor or Maybe even CEH at 1.05
