TY Hilton or 1.09

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

TY Hilton or 1.09

Postby Themissingrum » Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:30 am

Team 1 in my signature. (Win now mode)
I am negotiating a deal based around TY Hilton going one way and the 1.09 going the other.

What would need to be added to TY Hilton for you to give up the 1.09?
Have worked it towards:

Give: 1.09 + Coutee + Allison
Get: TY + Devonta Freeman + Crowder

I would rather hold the 1.09. I'm not crazy about any of the pieces involved outside of the pick.

I'd aim higher than Hilton if I'm selling the 1.09.

I don’t mind going after TY because his value is so cheap right now he can be had at a bargain. This is not that though. 1.09 should net you a higher return, or pair it with a player for a nice upgrade. Don’t use it on TY and things. A deal of 2.09 for Hilton is a lot more palatable for instance. This deal is no bueno.

Allison and Coutee are worthless to me, so the value probably add up to 1.09 here... but that said I don’t feel great about giving up the 1.09 for that, although Crowder is a bit underrated.

The 1.9 is more valuable. If you’re trying to buy Hilton on the cheap you can probably pay less.

I believe Hilton is going to bounce back this year with Rivers at QB, so he's a nice player to target for your team, but 1.09 might be too much to give up, even with Crowder and Freeman included in the package. With there being rumors of the Colts drafting a WR, It might be a good idea to wait until after the NFL draft to try and trade for him...if the Colts draft another WR in the first three rounds it would decrease his value, making it easier for you to get him. Have you tried offering your 2.03 for him?
