I have the 1.02 in this years draft. I am stacked with young qbs, so I don't want to take tua. I would like to take jonathon taylor at 1.02. I offered this to someone. am I overpaying?

I get 1.07
I give 2021 1st and 3rd

With your team I think that's a fine idea. You could definitely use Taylor and snagging him at 1.02 is fine (assuming he lands in a good situation in draft), but you also could use another WR and this class is loaded there. You should finish well this season w your roster and to lock in a nice WR from this class is worth a '21 1st to me.

How many teams in this league? If you don't want to take a QB, I'd look at trading out of the 1.02 with someone who does need a QB. Pick up an extra pick or two to move back one or two spots. You can still get a Taylor/Swift/Dobbins plus.

The deal seems fine if you cant trade out post NFL draft. More trade options might come through after landing spots are settled.

I think when the pick is OTC you could get more. Do you know when that first is projected in 2021?

My guess would be mid to late first 1st if my picks land well and some of my players don't get covered by picks. I just saw that the chargers are projected to draft a RB, such as jonathon taylor in a couple mocks which would really screw me with ekler.
