Mixon offer *updated *

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Mixon offer *updated *

Postby Gator Sens » Wed Apr 15, 2020 5:07 pm

Curious with the potential holdout. Not panic selling, but received an interesting offer. Love to here thoughts.

Give: Mixon
Receive: Mack + Cooper or Allen Robinson

Not enough for me to sell Mixon. I’m not very high on Cooper. I do like ARob but not in a deal for Mixon. Mixon is a first round startup pick so I want a stud coming back.

I am not a big of Mack or Cooper for that matter. I think I would be holding here. If I understand the Bengals build, they will have Burrow on the cheap for a good bit and I imagine they will want to get a deal done with Mixon.

The Mack/ Cooper deal holds the greatest value, which I’m sure you know. That said, with your roster and starting requirements I think I’m holding Mixon. The ability to start 2 stud RB’s each week should give you a slight advantage. Also Mack is hurt quite often.

I'd take Mack and Cooper. I'm higher on Mack and lower on Mixon than most, though.

I think I would hold Mixon but I'm not a fan of Mack. I really think Indy drafts a RB in the next year. With your WR's I would be more comfortable holding Mixon.

Cooper is pretty close to Mixon in value for me and I like Mack as a depth piece.

Mixon and Cooper are pretty close in value. So this pretty much comes down to how you view Mack. And you have two early picks so you won’t likely miss Mixon’s production.

As an Amari owner, I like him a ton. He's single-handedly won weeks for me in the past. Having said that, he's also lost them for me. I'm really bullish on Mixon and think he's a lock top-5 RB1. I'm not impressed with Mack. IMO, he's solid, but unspectacular, considering Jordan Wilkins was able to step in without missing a beat when he was hurt.

Owning 1.01 & 1.03 all but assures you of getting to take the top RB & WR in the entire 2020 class. At the end of the day, you'd ultimately be giving up the best player in the deal with the safest floor for 2 players who both come with the same risks as your draft picks, and only Cooper offers potentially a higher ceiling.

I prefer Mack IF he survives the draft. Gordon is locked into his role right now.

It's still Mixon for me.
I'd need two mid-1sts or an early+mid 1st to consider moving Mixon.
I see Cooper as an early/mid-frst but I don't value Gordon very highly at all.

I think Cooper and Mixon are fairly close, so I think anything on top of Cooper is solid here. I like Mixon a little better, but I think someone like Mack or Gordon, who I think are both solid RB2s, more than bridges the gap.

I think Mack and Gordon are fairly even for me. I have Mack ranked one spot ahead of Gordon, so I think this probably comes down to personal preference.
