Adams vs. package

For team in sig., which side would you rather have?

Adams

or

A. Robinson, Lockett, Hilton and 2021 first (mid to late)

Adams is obv. the most valuable piece but the depth is nice and I have no 2021 firsts. Im leaning towards the package. Thoughts?

I would want a different piece then Hilton. I'm holding Adams but I'm not as high on Robinson as most either.

I’d hold Adams. The depth is nice but you need RB help more than WR depth. If you’re wanting to sell Adams, a RB needs to be in the package or try to trade Adams for a Kamara type.

It's a nice depth move, but TBH, if you move one of your top WRs, you need to acquire an RB1 type in the deal. This downgrades your starting lineup and while the depth is there, I'd rather have 3 stud WRs and 2 upside guys (Deebo/Gallup) to choose from as flex week-to-week than to have 2 studs, 2 solids, 2 upside and wherever TY falls in there. And what kind of an RB can you get for a Hilton, Gallup, Deebo type to be your RB2? Nothing too great likely. What pick is your 1st?

I think the value is close, but don't see it as beneficial for your team. You are short on RBs, while you seem to have a solid core of WR. I'd hold Adams unless you could get an RB.

Value is close on paper but you are acquiring declining assets (Lockett and especially Hilton). And ARob is perennially undervalued. And this doesn’t address your main weakness which is RB. Easy pass.

That's too much value to pass up for Adams. I'd say Adams = Robinson + 2021 1st + Hilton, and getting Lockett on top makes this an easy call. Even if you don't need more WR help, you can flip Lockett for a RB or a late 1st/early 2nd and have Hilton as a depth piece for bye weeks and injuries.

I agree. I like ARob and Lockett this year, but it makes little sense to diversify using a high end asset if you don’t get a RB in the package. Any RB on his squad you could swap out for Lockett and/or TY?

Thanks for all your input guys. I really do appreciate it. The trade was revoked! I think I would have rejected it, based on the idea of getting an RB in return.
