Too many WRs!?

standard 12 team .5ppr league with a short bench of 14 spots. I can start 2 plus flex 1. I don't know what to do with so many receivers as they take over half my bench! I am looking to to package something together to move up to get a RB in the draft. I have a decent but small RB core of Barkley, Bell, David Johnson, and Carson. I was fortunate to win it last year but I could see RB being my downfall.

Here are my WRs:
Godwin
AJ Brown
OBJ
M Brown
Kupp
Preston Williams
Boyd
Watkins
John Brown
Perriman

I have begun talks with someone at 1.3 who likes Williams and Hollywood. I don't know if he would do a trade straight up for 1.3.

Open to any ideas to try to move up in the draft for a RB? Or maybe I should be hunting for a proven commodity at RB? But I do want to get younger at RB so I don't want a back with too many years on them.

Ideally I'd like to sell kupp, boyd, Watkins, but no owners seem interested at their current values. I am open to all types of suggestions at this point. Who would you try to package to move up? What other directions could I take this?

I'd move those two for the pick - just hope that 1.1 and 1.2 dont go swift and JT, otherwise you are trading WRs to draft a WR

If you can get the 1.03 for M. Brown and Williams, follow through with that even if you have to add another small piece. With those shallow starting requirements, you should consolidate into about 6 studs for RB/WR.

You have QB and TE covered for the most part, and you have Barkley and Godwin as top end. I like Kupp and AJB, and I think DJ and Carson should have solid seasons this year.

I would package DJ, Carson, and all others to upgrade positions or secure high picks to select top rookies, including OBJ. I’m not confident we see any more top seasons from him, so a trade while he still has name value might be prudent.

I’d do Williams and Hollywood for 1.03 if you can get it done. That’s a great trade. I’d even do it if you had to add another minor piece. But as stated above, it’s tough to make that trade and then end up drafting another WR.

If the first 2 picks were RB, I still do like Dobbins but do you feel that would be a reach at 1.3?

I have considered shipping OBJ. The guy at 1.2 seems to be open to trading as well. How much more could I ask for beyond the 1.2? What would you settle for? His roster doesn't have a great deal more that I would be interest in. What would the gap be here? Not sure he would do 2 1sts.

I would look to explore a few options here. There are numerous players on your roster I would look to shop and get the team younger and consolidate.

RB: Bell, Johnson, Carson, White
WR: OBJ, Watkins, Boyd, M. Brown, P. Williams
TE: Reed

That leaves you with a really solid core before you add great talent.

QB: Wilson, Cousins
RB: Barkley
WR: Godwin, Kupp
TE: Kelce, Goedert

My targets would be:

RBs: Chubb, Jacobs, Sanders
WRs: Moore, JuJu, Evans (if you're comfortable with 2 TB WRs)
Picks: 1.01-1.05

You have a lot of assets that hold value in trades. OBJ + Bell should be enough to land you a really nice piece. I'd probably even ship OBJ for the 1.01 straight up.

Thanks for the advice. I did just realize my sig isnt completely up to date. I don't have reed but I did pick up M Andrews off waivers early in the year! So TE is in a good spot! I have done quite well in this league but now does seem like the time to get younger while my aging players still hold good value

If you have Andrews too at TE, I would explore what Kelce brings in return.

I do like Dobbins. He’s be a good pick there, depending on where he lands of course.

I threw out two offers and heard back from both owners that they will consider.

Hollywood and Williams for 1.3

OBJ for 1.1

I'm not sure if I would actually want to pull the trigger on the 2nd one yet.

Hollywood and Williams for 1.3 would be a steal if you can get it.
