Sutton Offer

I inquired to the Sutton owner, “what plus my 1.07 would get me Sutton?” He also has picks 6, 8, 9, & 10 so I thought that would be very appealing to him to get all those in a row.

He replied back, “what else would I have to add to get Adams?”

His notables are:
QB: Allen, Lock
RB: Eckler
WR: Sutton, Golladay
Picks: 1.06, 1.08 (his original), 1.09, 1.10

I know I’m in a rebuild, but was still trying to collect studs and not send them away since it’s a 10 team league.

What would be a reasonable add to Sutton to trade away Adams, or should I stand pat? I feel that since he didn’t give me a definitive player to add to my pick, if I stay with Adams he won’t want to make a deal, however I think I’ll still be ok with that.

Sutton + multiple 1sts would be needed for me to move Adams. I love Sutton, but Adams is elite already and his 1sts are all mid to late.

I'd offer Adams for Sutton + 1.06 + 1.10. If that doesn't work, I'd probably still take Sutton + 1.06 + 2nd.

I agree. With his 1st this year being 1.08, obviously things can change in an instant, but I’d bet his 1st next year would be mid-late also.

I like Sutton but am still not sold on Locke.

Adams is elite with Rodgers.

I'd ask for Sutton 6 and 8, wouldn't settle for less than 6 and 10.

Sutton's second half of the year stats with Locke were pedestrian.

In my personal rankings, I have Adams somewhere around Dynasty WR #6 - 12, with Sutton in the #12 - 16 range. For a rebuilding team, turning in a soon-to-be 28 year old for an ascending 24-year-old WR + 1st round pick in a very strong class is a win in my book.

I still think it's prudent to start with an ask of Sutton + 1.06 + 2nd, but I'd happily accept Sutton + 1.06 or even Sutton + 1.08.

Agreed, I love Adam's and Sutton needs a little work yet, but something like Sutton, 1.06 and Lock would be good. Gets you a nice stack (I'm also high on Lock)

Personally, I’d take Sutton and any 2 1sts or 1.06 and 2021 1st, but I’m very high on Sutton.

In a ten team league like this, I'd need Sutton and the 1.06 and 1.08 to even consider it. I still don't know if that would be enough to be honest. Adams is a top five WR at worst.
