Start-up completed. How's it look?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Start-up completed. How's it look?

Postby fantasyhermit » Wed Apr 08, 2020 3:15 pm

Howdy all. I finished a start-up a short while back, but due to the chaos in the world right now I haven't really had time to begin obsessing over it. Looking at the end result now, I feel I've got some pretty solid names but I also have a fairly risky rb room outside of Miles. I also have no 2020 capital as they were going far too early during the start-up draft for my tastes. What do y'all think of this squad? Thanks for your time.

I like Watson and J. Allen to build around. Looks like a middle of the pack team from there. RB will be the biggest issue in the immediate in my opinion.

It's okay. I like your starting QB's, but I'd prefer to see a better #3 than Minshew. The rest of the team is kind of meh. Especially since it's a TE premium league, I'd like to see a better starter than Hock. Probably middle of the road, maybe a fringe playoff team.

Got any analysis on .25 points of TE Premium affect on results? There’s no way the extra points make it enough to want to start a Te in the flex, and the difference it makes between the TEs is minuscule, pointing out the TE Premium making you want someone better than hock because of the premium is silly IMO. If in general you’d like to see better than hock, ok, but citing the premium as part of the reason just isn’t great advice to me.

You may have missed it, but it's .5 points compared to RB's, so it's not just .25 points overall. Either way you look at it, it's still a premium, and Hock is at the low end of the TE1 pool for me. He's actually not even in my top ten of TE's.

I think you have 2 startable QBs, rbs, and wrs and 1 te. You need to work on depth/flex and hope that ajb develops into a top tier wr talent or go out and get some.

This looks like a middle of the pack team that should be torn down and rebuilt. I'd look to trade Sanders, gurley, conner, and minshew asap. If you can still get something for Lindsay now do that. Sell Murray to the kamara ower

Sell dionte Johnson now, and possibly Jones if you can get anything for him. Build around watson, Allen, AJB (unless you get an amazing offer for ajb).

Have the rookies been drafted?
