There is a guy in my league that is having a hard time with cut downs because he has a good amount of picks. He has 2 1sts, 3 2nds, and 1 3rd and not enough players that He wants to drop I think.
My question is would you trade a 21 2nd straight up for a 20 2nd or would more have to be included? I have 3 2021 2nds right now. They project to be mid, mid-late, and late. He has 2.05, 2.08, and 2.12 in this draft.
Just wondering if it’s worth pursuing or not.

Re: Trading picks in 21 for 20
I would move your most likely to be late 2nd in 2021 for the 2.05 in this draft.
Re: Trading picks in 21 for 20
Surely he won’t do it straight up right? That likely late 21 2nd is my own and I’m the defending champ, so with the way my roster is setup, he knows it will be late, so I’d assume he’d want more knowing that.Gator Sens wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 2:21 pm I would move your most likely to be late 2nd in 2021 for the 2.05 in this draft.

Probably not, but if he is worried about cuts, who knows?Jcedwards wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 3:02 pmSurely he won’t do it straight up right? Re: Trading picks in 21 for 20
Yeah, I would expect a little more knowing the situation. However, if he's struggling with cutdowns he may be willing to push that pick off for a year. If he can't include those picks or some of his players in a trade, he's potentially wasting the value of those picks or the back end of his roster.
Re: Trading picks in 21 for 20
Why try to rip him off when he could just go to someone else in the league? Offer your late projected 2 for 2.08 instead and maybe he accepts...Gator Sens wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 3:12 pmProbably not, but if he is worried about cuts, who knows?Jcedwards wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 3:02 pmSurely he won’t do it straight up right? Re: Trading picks in 21 for 20
It would just be my opening offer. Not trying to rip off the owner but if he is vocal about concerns on cuts and having too many picks, why start high was my thinking?Mtt33 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 3:27 pmWhy try to rip him off when he could just go to someone else in the league? Re: Trading picks in 21 for 20
Yea I definitely don’t want to rip him off. Just trying to help him create space and obtaining a pick myself. He may do his 2.08 or 2.12 (which is mine) for my probably mid 21 or mid to late. Don’t see him doing the potential late 21 2nd for 2.05. I’ll inquire though
