Evan Engram

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Evan Engram

I'll ask what all Engram owners are thinking. What do we do? From Dynasty ranks i've seen, he's locked pretty strong in the #5 spot right now. If he has another injury year, that is going to evaporate. For those that own him, does he make your team 'feel' strong in the TE spot based on Name and Dynasty Website rankings, or is he truly part of the equation. I have to admit, when I look at my team I pat myself on the back for acquiring him last season(for carson and a 2nd). But at what point am I just looking at the name?

Sorry for the rant. On to the question.
What are you doing with him?
Trying to acquire?
Trying to Trade?
Holding?

I feel like if I can find someone who values him I would be able to move him for a decent player coming back.

I'm not a huge Engram fan mainly because he never stays healthy. The guy has all the talent but injuries continue to derail his career. I definitely think you can survive on Fant, Smith, and Doyle. Fant will be your starter most weeks and Smith and Doyle should be fine on the bye week. Doyle should be heavily targeted by Rivers as he loves TE's. I would shop Engram around to see what you can get.

I would shop Engram with your depth, but I'm pretty high on Fant and J. Smith. I think Engram still has a solid mid to late 1st value to the right owner, but agree if he is injured this year a fair amount his stock will plummet. Could be a good time to cash out.

I'd sell for a late 1st or better given your TE depth.

If you can turn engram into a quality back, pull the trigger. I still like him, but, you have solid te depth. Rb is an area you could upgrade
In too many leagues to post rosters, but they almost all have ajb

Was kind of going through the same thought process this offseason. Figured out how to weave him into a larger trade to help me get the deal over the finish line. That, to me, seems like where he was best moved. Couldn’t get what I wanted for him straight up but part of a package, it’s easier for someone to overlook his injury history. Also recommend adding Kaden Smith to the deal as the rare TE handcuff lol

I’ve never had a concern for him until reading people’s opinions here. I’m not too worried about his value but I suppose some people will be. I never expected him to be a top 3 guy and he isn’t any more injury prone than HH, I feel worst case scenario he is just an HH kind of guy.

I was going to say how pleased I was that I used him to push a trade over ledge, but this guy did better. I had an owner interested in sending me Chubb and Brees for ARob, Ingram, and Lindsay (before Gordon). He was on the fence until I threw Engram in to get it done and get out from under the looming IR trip. I had both he and Henry, and it was frustrating waiting on both to emerge.
