Zero RB Startup Targets (later round)

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Zero RB Startup Targets (later round)

Postby slaughterrt » Sun Apr 05, 2020 3:00 pm

12 team superflex
Full PPR
Flex heavy starting requirement

Starting requirements as follows:
QB
RB x2
WR x2
TE
Flex x4
SFlex

Now for the question. I have employed a zero RB strategy for the first 8 rounds...focusing on QB and WR. Round 9 came along and I wasn’t excited about any of the WRs, so I grabbed Darrell Henderson as my only RB so far.

So...who would you guys consider going after at RB in the later rounds (rounds 10+). I have some ideas but was looking for some guys with some upside. Assume the top 32 RBs are gone, plus a few other random RB reaches. No 2020 rookies involved. Not hellbent in taking a RB in round 10 or anything either...just looking for sneaky plays that may fall.

Thanks in advance.

And if you are wondering about my roster so far...
Kyler Murray, Matt Stafford, Teddy Bridgewater
Darrell Henderson
Mike Evans, Courtland Sutton, DK Metcalf, Michael Gallup
Mark Andrews

Justice Hill may be a good hope for a role. I would also gamble on Jones II, Penny, Edmonds and Snell Jr.

Damien Williams available? Rojo, Lindsey, mostert, then there’s the receiving backs like Cohen/white.

I also thought about Mattison, but I'm guessing he is gone.

It would be helpful to list who’s left but I agree with most of above. Deeper is Pollard, Coleman (will get carries), Hines.

Sorry guys. It is a pain in the bleep to get into specifics about who is there and who is gone. Just sorta tried to get a general idea.

Went with TJHock in the 10th and Justice Hill in the 11th. But definitely still looking to grab more and all the advice is helpful.

You grab rbs that are young and one injury away from starting. If they have some type of ppr upside that's better

Q: Kyler, AR
R: JT, CMC, Barkley, chandler

Team #3: back to back champion

Wow, that's a great roster so far. I'd shoot for some young RBs with upside like Darwin Thompson and Boston Scott.

Just keep drafting BPA, dont worry about RB to much at the expense of other positions even with the heavy WR start. You can start 6 WR's a week with that format and its full PPR. You do need to invest in another QB though
