Ekeler value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Picks for sure. You can draft Ekeler's replacement at 1.05 with Dobbins/Akers, plus you can still snag a quality WR at 2.04

Because Tyrod Taylor can run and will do so rather than check it down a million times like Rivers did
Yeah, I think he will lose some. He will still see plenty, though. They run a ton of screens with him, and line him up out wide as well. He should get less receptions, but a few more carries and rushing TD's. His floor is pretty good, but I think CMC and Ekeler both lose targets this year. Of course, it's likely the Chargers draft a QB IMO, so a rookie will tend to check down, too.

He’s definitely not catching the 92 balls he caught last year, but I do expect him to get More work on the ground this year. Shady McCoy did catch 59 passes in Tyrod’s last season as a starter, so there should still be receptions to be had.

Another factor not discussed is will Hannibal be able to stand up to the heavier load . It's not a given that 300 touch pace he may not be around for the end. His build isn't that of mega workhorse.

Second Rivers has remarkable touch in feathering in passes to lead receivers . Tyrod isn't that guy. Taking a few whacks a game waiting for or stopping in your tracks for passes we predict will take a toll on the smaller back.

Don't think he gets 300 touches. 70 catches, 175 carries is what I see. Pushing 25 touches, but not more IMO.

I mean that's what everyone did say about CMC to , He will be feed the ball 20+ times a game , If he stays healthy is another question though , And no one can tell the future..
