yes, picks. i have a feeling that the chargers pick up another back, maybe freeman or hyde or a drafted player.

Picks and it’s not even close in terms of the pedigree of players you’re getting at those pick locations.

In your situation i would take that deal because you have other needs not because of pedigree...the chargers just let the pedigree walk...that tells you something

I am a Ekeler believer , MG played 10 games and out touched him and he was still a top 5 RB.. Should get around 200 carries and 100+ catches

I'd take the picks, but Ekeler's draft pedigree isn't relevant anymore. He's a legit NFL back and fantasy producer who has just been paid to continue to be that. Ekeler should be worth around that in a 1 QB league.

You're essentially saying that I can get one of Jeudy, Lamb, Taylor, Swift or Dobbins and a 2nd for Ekeler.

I'm doing that in a heartbeat. Ekeler is good, but selling high on receiving backs is pretty wise. He's coming off an 92/993/8 receiving line, which I don't think he's going to come close to replicating each season.

I will agree that he may not replicate those receiving numbers...however he also will gain the 160 carries that gordon stole so I think it is very probable that he scores that many points again one way or another. If he keeps averaging 4.+ yards a carry which isnt crazy..he will have another 680 yards rushing. It will balance the loss of some receptions.

Would this still be the case if the Chargers draft Johnathan Taylor?

I dont understand why people think he will lose targets , I would think they would only go up with MGs 55 targets gone , I think Jackson gets some of them but Ekeler is the clear cut 3 down back with no more MG to split with.. Say his targets even stay the same at 108 , His carries will go way up from 132 to at least 200 , I think he gets 300+ touches

Because Tyrod Taylor can run and will do so rather than check it down a million times like Rivers did
