I like Gordon if you’re a team trying to win now, but in a startup I’m leaning Montgomery because of age and lack of competition (at this point).

I just traded Monty for Gordon for a contender. Gordon averages 12 total touchdowns over the last 4 years including the holdout. They clearly dont love Lindsay as their three down back ( $750,000 a year says so).

Take Gordon if you're going to try and win some money over the next two years imo

I was a Montgomery buyer a year ago, and I sold him in the places I own him to owners still optimistic about him recently. There's a lot of reasons to be concerned, and in cases like this, I'm taking Melvin.

Idk a lot of Gordon's value over the years has been rooted in being tied to a very good offense, consistent goal line work and heavy involvement in the screen game. Is all that gonna translate to Denver? I'm not so sure. Plus he's officially old now. I don't think Monty is special but there's enough upside and youth there for me to lean his way.

Well said. For fantasy purposes, I hate it when guys change teams/systems.

Denver does have a solid oline (much better than LAC's the last few years). If Lock can be anything reasonable at qb, I think its a perfectly fine landing spot.

That right there only means that he’s still on a rookie contract, based on that information sanders,1.3M per year, Kamara, $964,000, or joe mixon, also $1.3 all aren’t trusted. Players salary level in relation to trust only starts to matter after they sign a new contract.

Saying that I’m still taking Gordon because Montgomery is bad.
