Too much for Josh Jacobs?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Too much for Josh Jacobs?

Postby eraldo_coil » Mon Mar 30, 2020 5:49 pm

I’m trying to get Josh Jacobs on my team to pair with Mixon and the Jacobs owner is a huge falcons fan, so I’m thinking about offering the following but feel like it might be a bit too much.

I give: Julio, Gurley, 1.11

I get: Jacobs

JJ seems like an overpay candidate and I feel like an aging Julio and uncertain Gurley paired with a late first could possibly get me there.

Thoughts?

You're giving way too much, Julio + 1.11 is a solid offer.

Totally fair and that’s what I figured. I’m trying to get creative with Julio/Gurley because of the falcons homerism but he wants both plus something else or no deal.

Thinking I might ask for his 2.04 as well to make it more even. You think that closes the gap a bit?

You're probably overpaying by a late 1st if you add in Gurley, there's really no reason to overpay.

I might be able to talk him out of the first round pick and just offer Julio/Gurley. Feels like a good shot to cut ties with aging and deflating players that still rely on name value and lock up a young stud RB to pair with Mixon.

Crazy talk. Julio + Gurley already > Jacobs. No way I'd add the 1.11 on top. I'd try Julio + Gurley for Jacobs + 2nd.

If you want to trade him Gurley, you need to do it before the draft because there's a good chance that Atlanta drafts a RB with an early pick.

I own Jacobs and I'd accept this. I'd probably have accepted for just Julio and the pick, wouldve asked for a throw in probably but would not have expected Gurley.
