Guice vs 1.09

Postby IR1 » Sun Mar 29, 2020 5:20 am

10 team idp, usually start 1 rb but can start 2. Have been looking for some rb depth as I “only” have Kamara, Mixon and Chubb. I’ve been offered Guice for the 1.09. This league has heavy scoring for idp, so expect at least 3 idp to go before that pick, essentially making it 1.06. Won’t be completely surprised if guys like Akers or CEH are still available there. With that in mind, would you prefer 1.09 or Guice?

Better way to go even if it does not get accepted. Need to see that Guice can stay on the field.

I think this is closer. I would not pay the 1.09 for Guice unless you're his doctor and know for a fact he'll stay healthy from the magical PEDs you've given him.

With those three RBs, it really doesn’t appear you need to push for another. I’d wait until you’re otc if you want to use that pick to trade. You’ll probably be happier with the offer then.

Nothing wrong with getting your guy with the 2.3. I gave up Guice last year for Edelman because I thought I could win. And he got me 2 points in week 15! Now he is 30 something years old with no QB or future. I wish I had Guice back now.

I own Guice in several leagues. No way I'd move him for a 2nd round pick. Yes he's been snake bitten, but so was Fred Taylor early in his career. Guice looked ELITE with the few games he played last year. I saw just enough to know IF he can stay healthy, he can be an elite 3 down back. I'd rather have that lottery ticket than a 2nd round pick. Just my humble opinion.
