This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Foles value SF

Postby Djr2723 » Fri Mar 27, 2020 1:15 pm

For team 1 in sig, startup draft was about a month ago. I didn’t take QB’s early enough so ended up with mostly fringe guys at QB. Since Trubisky is down to his last straw, and they just traded for Foles, I know I need to get him on my team. He drafted almost all 2020 draft picks, so he has lots of needs. His only RB is Jalen Richard at the moment. So I was looking to see how close Lindsay would get me, or what I would have to add to get him. He’s also week at TE, with his only TE’s being Rudolph and Walker. Thanks I’m advance!

I would think a late 1st as he will push Trubisky for the starting job.

I have Wentz, Rodgers, Foles, and T-mobile in a SF, I'm trying to decide who to deal. In a perfect world I would like to move Rodgers and hope that TT has value for the early part of 2020 and Foles takes over in Chicago. IMO Foles has been brought in to be the guy considering his history with the coaching staff.

Definitely not a first. He's a journeyman backup who gets spot starts for short periods of time. I think Lindsay is a fair offer.

It's not that bad. Kirk is probably worth an early 2nd type range in a SF league. I wouldn't trade Kirk for Foles, but it's certainly not the worst thing I've seen.

I would not spend anything more than a mid 2nd on him in SF and that's if I'm in bad shape. I'd be more excited to get Jalen hurts in the mid-late 2nd

I think an open QB competition = Foles as 2020 Bears starting QB.
From Rotoworld:

Bears GM Ryan Pace said there will be an "open competition" at quarterback between Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky.
"When we walk out on the first day, whenever it is whether it’s OTAs or whether it’s training camp, Mitch will be going first in the huddle," Bears coach Matt Nagy reaffirmed. "But it's going to be equal with Foles. There will be equal reps with similar players and against similar players. It's going be extremely competitive." Pace also refused to comment on whether or not the team would pick up Trubisky's fifth-year option for 2021 — a topic both he and Nagy avoided in their season-ending wrap-up conferences, too. Foles is familiar with the entire lot of QBs coach John DeFilippo's (Jaguars, Eagles), OC Bill Razor's (Eagles), and Nagy's (Eagles, Chiefs) offensive schemes, making the 31-year-old veteran the odds-on favorite to win out in any competition and start for the Bears in Week 1.

Lindsey went a good amount before foles in both startups I’ve done recently. That said if he went all draft picks in the start up, I don’t see why he’d want Lindsey.

As a foles owner in a couple spots I’m looking for a late 1st or early 2nd
