CMC+ vs Kamara+

An owner threw out a hypothetical offer of the following

Give: CMC + 2.1 + 2.2
Get: Kamara + 1.2 + 3.1

Since I really need startable depth should I consider the deal? Also this league will be SF in 2021 so I could grab a QB and RB at 1.1/1.2

Seems like the value is there, but CMC has a much better workload than Kamara.

Haha it’s a great problem to have, but the real issue is the league voted to change K + D spots to flexes meaning I can start 2 more skill players and I don’t have depth for that, I’m top heavy with studs and no real depth so I’m just looking to downgrade one stud into some depth.

I like it, especially with your 2021 switch to SF. This lets you grab Burrow for the future plus your favorite RB to pair with Kamara to round out your four flex spots.

I'd hold CMC here myself, and draft Burrow with your 1.01. You should be set up nicely next year and going forward into SF.

It's really a toss up. I could make an argument either way.

The Kamara voters - myself included - are probably the ones who noticed you have FOUR flex spots to fill and not enough quality depth to actually do so

Yep that’s my dilemma. As of now my starting lineup is

QB: Russ
RB: CMC
RB: Barkley
WR: Hopkins
WR: Adams
TE: Engram
FLEX: Godwin
FLEX: Mixon
FLEX/K: 1.1/Legatron
FLEX/D:Hollywood/Ravens D

Notable depth: Guice, Hock, Miller, Campbell

So if 1 of my starters goes down I’m screwed, plus I have no good second QB for 2021 and would love to get one while they’re cheap.

You could definitely use Burrow or Tua at 1.02, but I'd counter by taking out the 2.01. I think McCaffrey + 2.03 for Kamara + 1.02 would be closer value-wise.
