Brandon Cooks

Postby nicktahoes » Fri Mar 27, 2020 9:48 am

Was offered just a 2021 second for him. Team that is asking for him was the third worst in 2019. So I expect it to be no worse than 2.06. He is not a playoff team. This would be for my team 1 in signature.
Team 1:
PPR--QB, RBx2, WRx3, TE, Superflex, Flex x2
QBs: Lawrence, Stafford, Geno, Hooker, Rush
RBs: Ekeler, Kamara, Achane, Elijah Mitchell, Dillon, Kelley, Moss, Jamaal Williams
WRs: Adams, Hopkins, Waddle, Kirk, JSN, Boyd, OBJ, Hyatt
TEs: Kelce, Hockenson, Taysom, Irv Smith

and then a few minor players and rookie stashed on taxi

Fair offer for a guy that is frequently injured. With your depth at WR I pull the trigger.

Picks:
2021: 4 1sts, 1 2nd
2022: 1 1st, 2 2nds

I'm not a Cooks guy, so an early to mid 2nd in a SF league is fine by me. That's probably about fair value for him. You could also hold and hope he has some big games to start the year, and try to sell him for an earlier second or late first. But with your depth, and again, I'm not a Cooks guy, I personally would probably take it.

I too am not a cooks guy, and have thought for a while he will retire early due to concussion issues. I would sell for a 2nd easy.

I like Cooks but I'd still take that. He's always been a bit undervalued so it's unlikely his value suddenly increases, even with a strong start to the season.

Like Cooks but I’d take the pick, not sure how much longer he’ll be playing

I would not take that for Cooks, even in a rebuild situation. I’d hold and wait for him to produce early in the season.
