Diggs vs Ingram

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Diggs vs Ingram

Postby Kmani6 » Wed Mar 25, 2020 8:38 pm

What should I be looking to add to Ingram for Diggs? Diggs scored 219 points to Ingrams 300 in this .25 PPC, PPR league that favors RBs. Obviously diggs took a hit moving to buffalo so I’m trying to buy. Owner seems interested, as he needs RBs.

Would Dede/Shepard, Ingram and a 21 2nd be a decent opening offer in 16 man?

Don't buy Diggs. Nothing but a headache, and it's only gonna get worse with Allen.

Signed,

Diggs didn't take a hit moving to the Bills.

True. He's got a history of playing well in cold weather and the windy tundra will certainly be more appealing than the climate controlled new Vikings stadium. Plus his new QB is well known for his accuracy, especially on hitting those deeper routes.

uncertain on if this sarcasm font is working yet...

Diggs' value is low right now and to me it is a time to buy. I snagged him for K'Neal 1:1. and am happy about that. He joins my WR group of Golladay, Deebo, Hollywood, and now Diggs. Diggs is boom or bust, but well worth that price.

It's very debatable that he's in a better situation. I think it's about the same.

You can rarely say you won't buy player X. Most players become buys at a certain price. Diggs is most certainly a buy when the price is Ingra+Shepard+2021 2nd (16 team). That is an auto-accept.

I didn't say he was in a better situation, just said he didn't take a hit.

He is going from the Vikings which had the 3rd lowest amount of passing attempts in 2019 to the Bills who were in the middle of the pack, 12th lowest amount. He is going from being WR 1B to Theilands 1A, into a situation where he is the clear number #1 on his team. 6 games last year he had 5 or fewer targets. Diggs only had 94 targets last year, John Brown had 115 and Beasley had 105 on the Bills. Do you think Diggs will get more targets than either Brown or Beasley in 2020? More than he had as a Viking in 2019?

While he likely will not put up a monster 40+ point game like he did last year, I think on the Bills his floor is higher as he will get much more constant targets, very good in PPR. Will he be better overall? I don't know. As I stated in the "Diggs to Buffalo" thread I think it is a lateral move (I have warmed up to the move more since than). But to state as the OP did that "Obviously diggs took a hit moving to buffalo" is simply lazy.
