Team Improvement

Where do I make moves to improve this roster? Just talking starters, that is all we can keep!

Current Roster

QB - Wentz / Baker / Jimmy G
RB - Saquon / Drake / Lindsay / Guice (2 spots)
WR - Adams / Hopkins / AJ Brown / TY / Harry / John Brown (2 spots)
TE - Kelce
One Flex Spot - AJ Brown most likely

Really have a hard time moving Saquon, Hop, Adams, Brown, Kelce.....not sure where I can upgrade other than QB. I think Drake can be solid in the RB2 spot.

Would love to hear ideas!

This squad is really only missing a 2nd RB. What picks do you have to work with in this year's draft? What about 2021 picks?

Our draft is a more of a keeper draft, keep 6 you don't pick until 7th round...keep 5 and pick in 6th round, etc. I will not have any high picks unless I would trade for them. I have 2 additional 3rd round picks, but if guys keep 5-6 guys those turn into 8th and 9th round picks. I can trade for another RB, just not sure the best guy to target is. Some guys not willing to bolster my roster b/c I am right up there toward the top as well.

In this format, TY or Harry (if a rebuilding owner likes him) is probably the best player that you won't keep that could get the most value in return in a trade. I'd float one or both of them to see if you can snag an RB2 from an owner who has more backs than they can keep, there's bound to be one of those in a 10 team league. Beyond that look for a rookie back early in your annual draft.

I was thinking the same. With Rivers signing for the Colts, Hilton's value may have ticked up a bit.

You could even add AJ Brown to TY and upgrade at RB. That would leave Drake as your flex instead, since it sounds as if you can only keep 5 RB/WRs.

Hate to give up AJ Brown after last season but if I got the right RB I would agree, thanks!

People are still sleeping on Drake after what he did last year , For me you can improve your RB3 but Drake is going to be a top 5-10 RB in that offence , He was already going off and now with Hopkins there to he is going to face 7 man boxes..

I mean not many RBs can call themselves 3 down backs nowadays , Not even RBs like Chubb with Hunt there , Drake has no competition for carries or catches

I like Drake a lot as well in ARI's offensive scheme, but Chase Edmonds is still there, and it's not out of the question for ARI to still draft a RB on Day 2 with Drake on a one-year deal.

I am hoping Drake has a few big games to start the year and becomes a bit of a bell cow, who knows.
