Enough for CMC?

Enough for CMC?

Postby vflgladiators » Fri Mar 20, 2020 4:10 pm

Was offered the following for McCaffrey:

Give: McCaffrey
Get: Juju, 1.03, 1.12, potential very early 1 next year.

Is this enough based on my lineup and needs? Leaves me essentially empty at rb.

WR/TEs: Jahan Dotson, Kyle Pitts, Diontae Johnson, Elijah Moore, Rashod Bateman, John Metchie
K: Carlson, Boswell
DST: Patriots, Steelers
Picks: 1.3, 1.5, 1.8, 1.9, 1.11, 2.4, 3.1

With no other starting RB, unless you are completely blowing it up, I would pass. It's a solid offer though in my opinion. If you had other RB options, I would consider it.

If you’re blowing it all up and starting over, it’s a fine return. JuJu is a nice long-term asset. If you want to compete, keep CMC.

You have essentially no picks this year and no first next year and, without knowing other teams in the league, it doesn’t appear that you are a top contender for the ship. Playoffs? Absolutely. And sometimes that’s all it takes, anything can happen in the playoffs, but I prefer to build dynasty’s than teams with a chance. I think doing this deal brings you much closer to having a dynasty in a year or two, especially if that 2021 is early.

Well I won the championship last season. Not sure I have it in me to not at least make an attempt to defend my title.

If you won the title last year, it was on the backs of Lamar and CMC. I think the point others are making is you lack depth, so this trade will help with a retooling. I would trade Beckham as well, but you will have to wait until he shows he is healthy for a couple of games.

I would take this deal, think it will really set you up nicely for a quick retool. You could win again with that roster but there wouldn't be much room for error.
