At what point do you come off Julio?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

At what point do you come off Julio?

Postby brownstownbombers » Thu Mar 19, 2020 7:32 am

This would be for team 2 in my signature. I am loaded but so is 1 other team. I have the 1.03 (devy depleted) but I can get one of CeeDee, Jeudy, Jefferson, Mims. I have AmonRa waiting for me next year. Do I move Julio for the 1.02 and grab Lamb or just let Julio die on my roster. I have done this before and kicked myself for not moving Gronk, DeMarco, Jordy, and DT88. I love Julio's production but he is really getting up there in age and wear and tear. I could probably get a piece coming back with the 1.02...maybe Gesicki or something along those lines. What do you think?

With how stacked you are at WR if you can get the 1.02 for Julio I say go for it. Just don't sell him short.

If you can get 1.02 I’d probably do it...you are taking a risk but could get another young stud for the long term
QB: A. Rodgers, Herbert, Purdy, Levis
RB: ETN, Bijan, Gibbs, Mostert, Dobbins, R. White
WR: AJB, Diggs, ARSB, G. Wilson, Kirk, E. Moore, Mingo, Wicks
TE: Fant, Njoku, Chiggy, I. Smith, Musgrave

For Team 2, I'd take 1.02 in a heartbeat and gladly take whatever depth piece I could get added on top of it. I love Julio, but as you said, he's not going to keep at it forever. With the corps of WRs you have I think it's definitely worth taking a shot at a guy who could be a long term producer.

Piling on, with your depth and more importantly, great wrs to plug in, take the 1.02 and add a young top end prospect to your group.

Totally agree. I own him on like 3-4 teams and I would have a hard time turning that down. It might hurt in the short-term but that’s probably as good of an offer that you can get for Julio right now.

for that team, if I was going to move julio I would try and upgrade the QB spot. Your RB/WRs are solid and you have some youth there. But while your QBs are decent, they're not really going to put you over the top in a SF league.

I wouldn't want a pick as my first choice (unless you could get 1.01/Burrow), would much rather try and package Julio with a QB and shoot my shot for a stud QB like Mahomes/Ljax/etc to round out my starters.
