So I've played dynasty leagues for years, but I've never once been in a superflex league (QBs 5 points passing) or a league that gave extra points to the TEs in PPR scoring (1.75) OR a best ball league. Getting ready to join one that has all of those settings. Does anyone have a recent startup draft with these same parameters I could look at? Or anyone have any advice in general. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you're willing to share!
The league will be 12 teams, and 27 roster spots. We are required to start 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 0te with 1 superflex (qb,rb,wr/te) and 3 regular flex starters (rb/wr/te)

I would try to land two solid QB's early. Interesting that no TE has to be started.

If you can get good value I like moving back often, depth is huge in best ball. Other than that, make sure you get as many starting QBs as you can (imo strength in numbers is most important here) and if Tes go crazy early for the 1.75 I wouldn’t worry about it and panic.

So say I could get 2 top 10 QBs in the first 3 rounds, would you do that, sacrificing missing out on RB or WR in those first few rounds?

I would grab the best available QB in the 1st round then see how the other teams are valuing the QBs to gauge when you should pick your 2nd one. Drafts can vary greatly from league to league. You need to stay fluid.Buckhill Bombers wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 11:45 am So say I could get 2 top 10 QBs in the first 3 rounds, would you do that, sacrificing missing out on RB or WR in those first few rounds?

I agree with this, but dont sleep on how powerful it could be to get the top tes, if you miss out on the top 2 qbs and cmac i think i would go kittle and kelce if possible right away with that 1.75 ppr to them. They are a huge advantage in regular ppr so having them with 1.75 ppr would be an evem bigger advantage on the rest of the league. Tes seem to get lost in the shuffle later in the draft also and they cam be played as the flex. A wr would need to be considerablybetter for me to take them over a te at 1.75ppr for a flex spotHottoddies wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 1:20 pmI would grab the best available QB in the 1st round then see how the other teams are valuing the QBs to gauge when you should pick your 2nd one. I don’t agree with this, you don't have to play a TE so there’s no major advantage over the other teams if you have a good Te vs their lower tier Te. With the 1.75 boost the top WRs would still outscore the top TEs and WRs generally play longer. Kittle May be the exception, but I would probably draft 0 Tes in this former given how people are probably going to take them way too early. I’d love to see the points scored in the format last year but I’m too lazy to do that myself right now.blacklab1010 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 1:14 pmI agree with this, but dont sleep on how powerful it could be to get the top tes, if you miss out on the top 2 qbs and cmac i think i would go kittle and kelce if possible right away with that 1.75 ppr to them.
