Saquon vs 1.02, 2.03, 2.06 Superflex

Postby Bulletproof » Fri Mar 13, 2020 12:19 pm

This is a best ball, superflex, TE premium league. I was building for the future and this offer just hit my inbox out of nowhere. Give 1.02, 2.03, 2.06, Receive: Saquon Barkley. My only other legit RB is Joe Mixon and this would probably make me a middle of the road contender. I was probably going to take a QB at 1.02. Should I take this deal?

Pollard
Mixon

Alright got Saquon, thanks guys. Not sure why I hesitated. Guess I was kinda just waiting for free agency, the NFL draft and drooling over Burrow and Tagovailoa and not thinking clearly

I think he meant the answer is so obvious, you probably shouldn't have wasted time creating a thread and asking the question.

Even with depth being more important in best ball this is clear for Saquon. At the least you can fliphim now for way more.

Fair enough, but not all dynasty owners are knee deep into player valuation. That's what I come here for. Rookie hype for the incoming QBs is very real in the superflex leagues I'm in. If I tried to turn around and sell Saquon for a top QB, I would probably have a hard time. My roster construction made the decision pretty easy, but if I were sitting with 1 QB and a few good RBs, it would be tougher because it's very difficult to trade for good QBs

Not really. The 1.01 should be Burrow. So that leaves you with either taking your chance on Tua or going Taylor. Neither one of those guys are valued anything like a top QB in SF leagues. If it was the 1.01 and you wanted Burrow, then maybe you'd have a decent argument, but even then I'd take Barkley.

You're right, I'm just feeling sheepish for being lazy, not doing my homework and trying to make a argument for my hesitation. I do appreciate the feedback here and being able to ask obvious questions without too much ridicule.
