Trading for Kyler Murray in SF

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading for Kyler Murray in SF

Postby GUMP7285 » Mon Mar 09, 2020 12:41 pm

Really wanting to land Kyler Murray in my 12 team SF tiered PPR (0.5 RB, 1 WR, 1.5 TE) league.

My roster: https://sleeper.app/roster/515937937696092160/1
My picks are 1.06, 2.01, 2.06, 2.11, 5.06

His roster: https://sleeper.app/roster/515937937696092160/10
His picks are 1.08, 2.08, 3.08, 4.08, 5.05

What you would offer for Murray with my team? 2nd year of play SF so still getting used to the values in trades.
Currently offered Derrick Henry and Bridgewater for Murray and 1.08

Thanks!

It's a stretch, but the 1.06 + Trubisky or Bridgewater + Hardman might get the Murray owner thinking. Not sure how hard you are willing to go to get Murray?

I'm willing to pretty much give up whatever it would take to get him. Finished 1 game out of a playoff spot last season and had beaten 4/6 of the playoff teams. My biggest issue was my QB2 was a revolving door of Kyle Allen and Mitch Trubisky for most of the season so I really want to lock up a solid QB2 going forward.

Currently I offered Derrick Henry and Bridgewater for Murray and 1.08 but have yet to hear back from the owner.

The offer you sent should help with where the other owner values Murray. I think it will be tough to land him without the 1.06 being involved, but we will see. Good luck and hopefully you get your guy!

Assuming you want to keep your starters if possible, I'd try opening with 1.06 + Landry + Guice.

Y'all (except Krypto King) are way too low on Murray here. He's easily 1.01++, no? Who on Earth is selling him for 1.06 and chump change?

To be honest, I don't see a good match here. With his team, I bet he'd want Dak involved, and that wouldn't make sense for you, OP. Outside of something involving Dak, you'd probably have to gut your team.. again, wouldn't make sense for you.

I'd say walk away.

This is more of what I expected to hear. Multiple first and relevant starters. Yeah you're right, I'm definitely not looking to move Dak in this particular deal

Walking away does sound like the best bet for my team right now. What QBs would you look to target for Henry and Bridgewater?

would you want to give up a top 6 QB going into their 2nd year and a 1.08 in a loaded draft class in order to obtain a RB without a contract who has 4 years of nfl wear on his body and a backup QB who is hoping to land a starting job?

this offer isnt close man. henry and 1.06 for just murray might get him talking though

This offer wouldn’t be a starting point for me, I’d just reject and note it’s not close and move along. Drop the 1.08 and you may at least get a counter...

Considering tossing out this offer:

Give: Henry, Bridgewater, Guice, Hardman

Get: Kyler, Marlon Mack

DLF trade analyzer has it pretty close (Kyler side 887.3, Henry side 859.9 w/out package adjustment, 787.3 w/package adjustment): http://apps.dynastyleaguefootball.com/t ... %7C9992206

If you're willing to pay whatever it takes, just ask the guy what he wants.

Murray is QB4-6, so you might struggle to get a deal done. I wouldn't be massively interested if Henry was the main piece coming back.

Worth a shot, but I think you'd have a better chance if you remove Mack and offer that package for Murray straight up.
