Slow draft round 8+9

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Since Jacobs was taken ahead of you, this seems like a good way to go. You got a young QB and an asset that will net a top rookie or have trade value ahead of your draft.

This was going to be my suggestion. Good job. That 1.02 is a great value.

Bump for the latest round

I’m up in 4 picks time at 6.14/7.01. Who do you like here?

I’ve got

Mahomes
Baker
1.02
Kelce
1.06

QBs are gross. Trubisky Haskins Rivers etc.
RBs Mack Kerryon Monty Singletary Lindsay Bell
WRs Thielen Woods Landry Kirk Terry
TE all but Kittle/Kelce
1.12 is available

I’m leaning a WR and not sure on the other. 1.12 might get a late qb in the draft? Idk.

Kirk and terry for me, or Kirk and singletary, Mack or kerryon if you want to grab a rb.

*edited because I overlooked singletary the first time.

If you’re taking Tua with 1.02 then I’d probably go Mack and Kirk/Woods.

QB: Love, AR, Cousins, Flacco
RB: CMC, Bijan, Ford, Mitchell, Pierce, Kendre, Tucker

Gotta take terry here IMO, after that I’d go Singletary or mack

Yea I think with the 1.02 you are pretty much done at QB for now.
RBs, the only RBs I'd look to take are Singletary and Monty (in that order) and I'm not sure I want to take them here. Both Mack and Kerryon may have a decent rookie eating in to their work this coming year.
WRs I think the only one here I like is Kirk. Terry showed well last year, but he was the only WR there.
TE: So here it gets interesting. I think someone like Andrews is actually worth picking here. I get it there are no TE premiums, but he's young, in a solid offense, and should be a top TE option, meaning one of your competitors will have to take a worse TE. It is a 14 team league so those top TE's do get a little more of a boost here, and you can always start one in a flex spot. Also, Kelce is no spring chicken.
1.12, I think there are lots of better options than the 1.12.

Conclusions:
Go young, get Andrews. If you really don't want another TE, go with Kirk, Singletary, or Monty.

Unfortunately Andrews, Monty and Singletary got taken so only Kirk made it to me. I could do Kirk + Landry? I rather liked the idea of Andrews but he went to the same guy who took Kittle.

Well at least it looks like everyone is on the same page as me lol.

I think Kirk is fine here. I'd want to trade down with the other pick though.
I think Landry is always undervalued and I think he's good, BUT OBJ should be better this year, and Landry did have some off season surgery. The 1.12 could be in play here also, but I think at that point, you are really saying that you are gonna be building around a young group of QBs and WRs and trying to piece together the rest of your roster with 3rd down RBs and vet WRs.

Ridley/Cupp/Gallup/Chark
Stafford
Plenty of meat left on this bone.
I take Ridley if he’s still there when you pick.

If Ridley is available I want him. He could see a big boom without Hooper and Sanu (think Godwin like). Stafford I'm great taking as a qb3 here too. You can use him post draft to sure up some other spot.

My bad. Got mixed up between the 2 running sf drafts.

All good. The guys on the right of the board are slow, so it's only halfway back to me. There's a big TE run going on right now. I'll update the options when it's closer to my next picks. Cheers.
