The league champion in a 12 team ppr dynasty league just offered me his 2021 7th round pick for my 2021 7th round pick. Any ideas why someone would make this kind of offer ??

Seems really worthless even if he is guessing your 7th will be earlier...trading to trade here in the off season.

He's probably just messing around.
If he did it with a higher pick then it can almost serve as a bet of "I think I'm going to finish higher than you". (I've done that in leagues before. Kinda fun if you have someone you're competitive with.)

A month ago he offered me Tyler Higbee a 2020 2.08 and a 2021 4th for Travis Kelce, I politely turned him down. So maybe he's just messing with me

Not sure why he would send it, but I’d take it just for the absurdity of the offer. Maybe he’s trying to drum up some trade chatter. I know if that kinda trade happened in one of my leagues, the group messages would be flying with people questioning/laughing at the trade. But it would get them talking.

Who cares? He’s looking to diversify, and improve, his future draft pick. Either way, it’s a 7th. If you think he’s better than you just decline. I’d you think you’re better, accept. IF you think it’s a crapshoot and want to see, just accept knowing the delta is rather insignificant.
