Kelce or Deebo/OJ Howard/2.08

Postby krtbuckeye » Fri Feb 28, 2020 1:22 pm

I was approached with the following offer:

I Get: Deebo/Howard/2.08
I Give: Kelce

I'm considering this only as I feel my team would still be very competitive without Kelce. My league hoards RBs and WRs, and without many picks for a few years, getting Deebo to add to JuJu and AJB as my tier 2 WRs is attractive. Not expecting a lot at 2.08 but guys get crazy during the draft and would eat it up while on the clock. Trying to gauge if rolling with Howard/Higbee/Knox at TE is the worst thing in the world given the other things coming back. The goal is to remain in the hunt for a championship but gaining as much long-term viability as possible as well.

Thoughts?

I think this deal helps you long term in theory based on Kelces age, but hurts you in the short term. Its essentially impossible to replace Kelce.

On an average team I would take the Deebo side, with your team I think you should keep Kelce because you are primed to win and this trade seems purely a loss for you over the next year maybe two.

With that roster, I'd easily keep Kelce. I'm assuming your team is the favorite to win it all...why make it weaker?

I'd want way more to sell Kelce as a contender, at least Samuel + 1st.

Easy pass for me as well.
