Is this enough to move Barkley?

I think most of us on here are aligned that you need to keep your stud for example Barkley - but when do you move them?

For my team below another player has Kenny Golladay, Eric Ebron, AJ Green, Melvin Gordon, Kerryon Johnson, Julio Jones, Jameis Winston on the trade block and he has enquired about Barkley.

If I was to get say Golladay, Gordon and Kerryon do you make that trade?

With my team below I feel it is caught in no mans land and no-one wants Henry, Lockett and the other pieces I have tried to move

Team 3:
League: 12 Team, 1 QB 3 RB, 3WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX WRT, 1 FLEX WRTQ, 20 BENCH

QB: A Rodgers, M Ryan, T Bridgewater, E Manning, B Allen, M Schaub, T Boyle
RB: S Barkley, D Henry, J Samuels, D Ogunbowale, F Gore
WR: T Lockett, B Cooks, D Parker, J Ross, M Sanu, M Boykin, T Gabriel, R Higgins, R Gage, R Ridley, J Watson R Switzer
TE: M Andrews, I Thomas, J Graham, A Shaneen, D Arnold, V Davis
Picks:
2020: 1.04, 2.02, 2.03, 3.06, 5.02
2021: 1st x 2, 2nd, 3rd x 2, 4th

To me, this feels like a trade where you would be getting 3 quarters for a dollar. Not horrible but other than Golladay, I would want something else better than Gordon and K.Johnson. Barkley is such a stud, I don’t know that I can trade him right now, unless I’m blown away.

I wouldn’t unless you have so many holes there’s no other way to compete.

In this format with 12 team, and starting 8 positional players plus 2 QB's, it makes sense for your build to move Barkley. Your'e not really competing at all and you could diversify your assets with some young talented players to fill your holes. This trade does not do get me interested at all to do that, however. I love Golladay, but MG3's best days could be behind him. Him and KJ's futures are both really risky and you're not taking that risk from moving on from Barkley. I would look to move Barkley for 3 good assets, 2 being WR, just because you may need to rebuild for a bit, and you have a big hole there. Take BPA at 1.4, and go either 1 of the top 3 RB's to fill the Barkley hole, or if not draft Jeudy or Lamb to fill your WR holes.

Thanks for the detailed advice.

Afew options for WRs on other teams are below. Any thoughts on good value?

Team 1 (loves to trade): Hopkins, Robert Woods

Team 2 (is solid at WR): Sutton, Evans, Cooper, Deebo, Mike Williams, Curtis Samuel, Ridley

Team 3 (will trade both): Allen Robinson, Juju

I think your team has the value to compete , I would keep Barkley and move picks for some nice WRs

This isn’t close for me. I’d easily hold Barkley here.

Barkley by a mile with that package. For a guy like Barkley I’d be looking for a proven starter or two, plus some draft capital to use or trade to fill other holes. For reference, I traded CMC this offseason for Adams/1.04/1.08, then turned and packaged the picks with lesser players to get Tyreek and Jacobs.

Moving Barkley to get a bunch of assets to help your team overall/in the long run is not a bad idea, but I don't think this is the package to take.

I'd try for Evans + Sutton + 1st.

I wouldn't pay that for Barkley, but I'd definitely sell him for that.

My core philosophy is if I have to ask if it's enough value to move a stud, it's not. I want to be floored with an offer and have no doubts it's worth it, ie an overpay.

Not enough for Barkley.

Sit back and enjoy the ride as the team offense will improve.

If you sell demand more value.
