Hollywood Brown for a RB?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Hollywood Brown for a RB?

Postby TheGunSlinger » Mon Feb 24, 2020 4:43 pm

I have Hollywood Brown and am thinking of moving him for some RB help. In a 12tm/NonSF league, what RBs would you target? Singletary? Kerryon Johnson? Montgomery?

I need to build depth at RB, so any ideas would be great!

It's tough to judge Brown's value right now as he had a very up and down year and Jackson favors his TE's so much. Tough to see him being a reliable option week to week in the current system. Backs coming off disappointing years might be your best hope. Montgomery might be an option if the owner is down on him and ready to move on already. Michel is another name that comes to mind. K. Johnson would be a nice land, but his value still seems reasonably high with some owners.

I think those are reasonable asks, as I'd value Brown and all those RBs in that late 1st / early 2nd range. Other names would be Conner, Guice, Ingram, etc.

I'm in a similar position. I'm stacked at WR. I wanna move him for a RB. Nobody is biting.

WR: Davante, McLaurin, CeeDee, DJ Moore, M Brown, N Harry, Gandy-Golden, B Cooks, JJAWS, J Reynolds
TE: GRONK, H Henry, M Gesicki, N Fant
Picks: 1, 2,4, 5 (2021)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Team 2 (SF, TE Prem):
QB:
Russell Wilson, Tua, Cam
RB: Josh Jacobs, D Singletary, C Carson, R Penny, D Washington, B Love, A Gibson, Darrell Henderson
WR: Scary Terry McLaurin, C Kupp, A Thielen, M Gallup, D Slayton, Aiyuk, T Higgins, Shenault, M Hardman, B Cooks, R Higgins, J Reynolds, H Butler, S Sims, K Harmon

I don't think you're going to get much for Brown right now if you're looking to move him straight up for a RB. I think your best bet would be to package him and another piece/pick and go after some of the RBs mentioned already. I don't see anyone trading those players for him straight up, and I personally wouldn't either.
