Hakeem Butler

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Hakeem Butler

Postby Miso_Neil » Mon Feb 17, 2020 2:20 pm

What do you do with this guy? There was decent hype involving Butler before he got hurt.
Is he a hold? Do you deal him away? If so what is his value?

I would hold unless somehow you get an early 2nd for him.

no point in trading now, his value is lower than where you would've drafted him last year. He's a hold unless some owner is willing to pay more than the value you drafted him with
Jake Fromm State Farm (12 team PPR SF)
QB: Purdy, ARich (TS), Levis (TS), Bagent, Hall, Rudolph, Fromm
RB: Roschon (TS), Allgeier, Hill, Demercado, McLaughlin, Mitchell, K. Harris, E. Wilson
WR: Addison, London, Jmo, Shaheed, Reed (TS), Pop D, Iosivas, C. Jones, Mooney, T. Palmer, Scott, Tucker, Austin, Gipson, Melton,
TE: Musgrave, Mayer (TS), Trautman, Gray, Jordan
2024: 1.01, 1.07, 2.04, 2.10, 2.11, 3.01, 3.06, 3.07, 3.11
2025: 1, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4

Well the thing is last year was my startup draft and I got Hakeem in like the 19th round. So I am just struggling how to value him, and just trying to see where he fits in comparison to this year's WR class. If that makes sense.

Oh I see, I'd see him as a late second round pick in this years rookie draft; so I'd hold unless I could get a early to mid second

He was a 3rd/4th last year. He has 0 production and an injury history now. The only thing positive is his one year accrued. Im not sure id pay any 2nd for him.
Too many teams and lineup changes to keep track of them all.

Probably worth holding. I doubt anyone is paying more than a 3rd for Butler at this point.

Hold, unless there are better options on the waivers (which wouldn't surprise me). You're not going to get anything in return in a trade.
