Should I enter the dispersal draft?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Should I enter the dispersal draft?

Postby WOATjohn » Fri Feb 07, 2020 3:20 pm

7 teams are in the draft
Team 1 in my sig is the roster I would be sacrificing in the pool. I truly only love Thomas and Sanders and I think I could get both of them back in the draft. I am not truly in love with this team

I am leaning towards entering it. Would that be crazy?

With 7 teams in the dispersal draft... I don’t think you are going to do better. You have 4 great WR starters. I think RB is the only position that you are not better than average at. I’m really curious what others think.

I have decided to do the draft. With so many assets available, I think I should be able to break even and get players that I actually enjoy. With 10 1st rounders in the draft too, it should be fun.

why is it sad? It's something fun to do to keep a league fresh. Everyone is extremely excited to redraft

I’m guessing he thought that all the teams in the draft were taken over by new owners. Typically that’s when a dispersal takes place when multiple teams need to have new owners step in

Maybe.
There were two orphans, one of which was a powerhouse, so I let everyone choose to join the dispersal to have fun since it’s year 4 of the league. There were definitely two tiers in this league: The contenders and the bad teams, so it lets things get fresh.

The first two rounds have been picked and I have taken Tyreek Hill with the 1.07 and then 2.02 I took the 1.01 rookie pick. The spreadsheet is live if you want to see how it has gone so far.
I am planning on taking BPA while targeting youth. My 3 and 4 picks I am hoping to add another young WR to build around. I will stay away from the RBs since they lose value so quickly.

My updated draft is:
1.07 Hill, Tyreek WR
2.02 1.01 Pick
3.07 1.04 Pick
4.02 Samuel, Deebo WR
5.07 Hunt, Kareem RB
6.02 1.08 Pick

I was debating Engram and Harry before taking the 1.08.
I didn’t plan on taking tons of picks but it’s where the value has been. I draft in tiers and there are a few players left in the same tier so I keep pushing them down.
