Request to Reverse Trade

Can use some advise. A couple of weeks ago a guy in my league sent me a trade request where he gives Kupp for my 1.11 and 2.11. I accepted.

Yesterday he sent me a note saying he made a mistake as he thought my picks were 1.05 and 2.05. Sends me screenshots of him debating this trade with others thinking picks were 1.05 and 2.05.

Additional points of reference:
- we were both in the playoffs so he should have known my picks. I lost in the finals.
- today he sends me a screenshot today about this discussion with others were someone says “I would be a pretty big asshole if I wasn’t agreeable to a reversal”

I don’t feel like I need to reverse this trade (he made the offer, had all the information and weeks went by) but should I reverse the trade?

Would love perspective here.

I wouldn’t reverse it. It seems as though he had all the knowledge he could have needed, and just wasn’t careful about the trade. I don’t think you’d be doing anything wrong by not reversing it

Numbers are Hard. It's different if he miss clicks Saquan instead of Bernard but in a deal like this that's somewhat close in value....sorry that's ridiculous.

Also curious if he got back to you within the first 5 minutes of the trade being accepted?. If not...its even further ridiculous.

I'd also show him texts from your Mom where she says you should have got more in the deal. How are outsiders opinions relevant?

Nothing to do here. How did the other owner mess up the picks so badly? Sounds like trade remorse to me. Good trade by you and trades are final.

I'd leave the league. It sounds awful. I can't imagine someone doing something like that in any of my leagues. I can't imagine anyone making that kind of mistake in the first place, and then acting like that weeks later.

I'd want nothing to do with a league or owners like that.

Are you friends IRL? If so, I'd consider reversing. If this is an internet league, tough luck. It's on him to know what the picks are.

Didn't you make this trade like a week ago.If someone notices something wrong in a short fashion sure I'll bite on the honest mistake, I've done it myself. But a week later.... that sounds like remorse to me

Except OP pointed out the guy was discussing the trade with others as if it was 1.5/2.5 prior to accepting

Some league sites don’t automatically move the picks over or have them as erroneous placeholders and it’s super confusing unless the Commish is on top of importing picks and setting draft order immediately.

This happened to me and I reversed the trade despite HIM offering it to ME. He’s an idiot but I did the right thing

He should have noticed sooner than a week later, bet someone told him it was a bad deal. Depending on the league/trade partner, I'd still consider reversing but wouldn't feel obligated

I'm a little surprised by some of the responses and impressed in a way. Reversing the trade would be a really classy move on your part. I'm surprised it took the other owner this long to notice/say anything is the reason it seems fishy. Do what you think is right. Tough one though. Maybe I'm just way more obsessed with dynasty then some ha ha.

He made a trade, got picked on by his friends, and then asked you to undo it.

I agree with Fantasyfoosball, I'd leave this league. IMO once you say no to reversing this trade him and his friends will treat you unfairly, so it's likely to sap the fun out of it for you anyway. That, or undo it, no real harm done to you unless it cost you another trade you had in the works.
