Thoughts on Parris Campbell going forward?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Thoughts on Parris Campbell going forward?

Postby LMS123 » Sun Jan 26, 2020 5:10 pm

Wanted to see where people are at on him next year and for the future. I feel this year was kind of a lost season for him as he was injured a bit and with Luck's retirement. He was a late first round rookie pick in my league last year; I think he profiles as a bigger Hollywood Brown. I've seen the Colts selecting a QB in a lot of Mocks and they don't really have many offensive weapons for receivers. I think he could be a good buy low this offseason and wanted to get others thoughts on him as well!

Worth a mid second. Didn't show anything due to injuries, treat him as a rookie going forward, and I Hink him as a prospect spots in around a mid second. The situation looks promising, he has the body and athleticism, can learn from TY, Colts are trending upward imo.

He’s a hold for me. He showed flashes but some injuries slowed him down.

If you want to buy him you should be able to get him for cheap. I still like him long term.

Hold for me with what you are likely to get for him. I could see the right owner paying a late 2nd/early 3rd, but again I would rather hold.

I'd sell for a late 1st but I'm most likely going to just hold and see if he develops. It's so hard to be patient these days with some slowly developing rookies when we see others balling out in their first year. This kid has serious speed and still has a good chance to replace the Hilton role in the near future I think.

Campbell was a really late breakout, and his YPR in his breakout year were still extremely low. He seems like a gadget guy. A lot of the draw to him was being with Luck, and I personally would cut bait for any 2nd I could get. I just never believed in him, though.
