Blockbuster: Pick a Side

Postby jonesmaster » Wed Jan 22, 2020 11:16 pm

I’m contending in my .5 ppr league. I think my build has left me in a predicament where I need to go all in now. The dalvin owner is rebuilding and proposed the trade in the poll. Do I do it ?

I think it's pretty even. I don't think it helps you that much to contend, unless you think Harry will breakout. I like every player skill wise in this deal, other than Harry, who I am not sure about. I think it depends what you think of him. Cook and Mixon are both top end RB's, and I'd rather have DJ Moore over Lockett, so does Harry make the difference. I'm not even voting, because I can't decide.

Yuck. I don't know that there's a huge gap between Cook and Mixon, but I'd much rather keep Moore over Lockett and Harry.

Mixon side for me. Cook >= Mixon so that’s mostly a wash. But you can’t miss out on DJM here. He’s an ascending top 10 WR and isn’t yet 23. Lockett value only goes down from here. Harry doesn’t bridge the gap.

I'd hold Mixon and Moore here. I don't see how this helps you compete. I have Cook slightly ahead of Mixon in my rankings, but it's not by much. I have Moore way ahead of Lockett though, it's not really close for me, and Harry doesn't come close to bridging that gap.

This makes your starting lineup worse. The gap between Moore and Lockett is much larger than the gap between Cook and Mixon. So if you do this trade, your chances of competing lower.... no thanks.

Mixon side pretty easily with the secondary pieces involved.

Very close for me, but I'm going with the Cook side. Giving him the edge because he's the best piece in the deal.

Leaning Mixon side, but I think it's close.

As a Cook and Mixon owner, this right here^

DJ Moore moves this pretty firmly to the Mixon side IMO.
